Craig Wright, Jimmy Nguyen heading to Beijing for T-Edge Conference

nChain Chief Scientist Dr. Craig Wright and Founding President of the Bitcoin Association Jimmy Nguyen are among the guests who will take the stage at the upcoming T-Edge Conference in Beijing, China. The event will also bring together some of the leading personalities in the fields of finance, technology and academia.

The T-Edge Conference is one of the biggest events of the year, attracting over 10,000 attendees and over 100 speakers every year. The event offers a platform for global leading innovators to meet and exchange ideas.

This year, the event will focus on technological innovations, international expansion for local enterprises and the emergence of smart cities. Other themes for the event will include the application of the Internet to power manufacturing and the shifting retail dynamics.

Dr. Wright will be among the distinguished guests scheduled to speak during the event. On top of his speech, he will also be joining a panel with other industry leaders. With Dr. Wright is Nguyen, who will also take to the stage during the two-day event.

Some of the other guests include Dan Shechtman, the winner of the 2011 Nobel Prize in Chemistry; Peter Walker, a senior partner at McKinsey; Guowei Cao, the chairman of Weibo; Yasuo Fukuda, the former Japanese Prime Minister; and the winner of the 2014 Nobel Prize in Economics, Jean Tirole.

The three-day event will be held on December 6-8 at the Star Park in Beijing, China. The conference will conclude with an awards ceremony celebrating achievements in such areas as top authors, innovations in consumer technology and digital transformation.
