CoinGeek Live 2020 Day 1 broadcasting live from New York, London

The eagerly-anticipated event is finally upon us as CoinGeek Live 2020 kicks off today. The biggest event yet in the Bitcoin industry brings together developers, startup founders and Bitcoin enthusiasts to celebrate the progress made so far and chart the future together.

Day 1 of the tightly-packed three-day event will focus on the progress Bitcoin SV has made and how it’s revolutionizing digital asset security and custody, banking and financial services. nChain CTO Steve Shadders will be one of the first speakers, offering a technical update on the development of the Bitcoin SV infrastructure.

Other speakers for the day will include Bernhard Muller, the founder of Centi and Derrick Horton of AnyPay who will talk about improving the payment systems with Bitcoin. TrustChains CEO Karen Wendel will delve into the future of digital asset custody, with Swiss National Bank’s Thomas Moser and Bequant’s Denis Vinokourov addressing the future of banking and blockchain.

The Centbee team will also give a live briefing from Johannesburg.

The most anticipated session for Day 1 will take place later on in the day as Dr. Craig Wright talks about how Bitcoin will power a new future for computing and cloud system.

Day 1 will also see the three finalists in the 3rd Bitcoin SV Hackathon make their presentations before a distinguished judges’ panel consisting of Dr. Wright, economist George Gilder and nChain’s Steve Shadders. The finalists will not only be competing for the prize money, but also the chance to connect with some of the most prolific investors in the Bitcoin industry who will be on the lookout for the next big idea.
