Bitcoin Association teams up with SatoPlay for Bitcoin SV app dev event in Shenzhen

Bitcoin Association will host a Bitcoin SV application development conference in Shenzhen, China on October 24. The event will feature businesses building on the Bitcoin SV blockchain who will share their experiences building on Bitcoin.

The half-day event will take place from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. (CST) in the Nanshan District of Shenzhen. It will be hosted in partnership with Chinese BSV gaming platform SatoPlay, with founder Gu Lu set to be among the speakers for the day. Lu will give an overview of Bitcoin technology and look at some of the tools developers can use to build their applications.

“We want to demonstrate what is possible for the gaming industry using Bitcoin SV, with this weekend’s conference set to offer an excellent entry point for those looking to learn more and take their first steps,” Lu remarked.

The conference is the latest in the series of events the Bitcoin Association has hosted across China this year. The Asian country has become a BSV hub with the number of developers and BSV users rising by the day. China’s competitiveness has been a key factor in BSV adoption, with several enterprises seeking an edge over their rivals, Lise Li told CoinGeek. The Bitcoin Association’s China Manager revealed that Chinese developers are migrating to BSV to take advantage of its massive scalability.

Li, who will be the first to take the stage, believes that developers will greatly benefit from the event. Apart from the presentations from herself, SatoPlay’s Gu Lu, Showpay’s Sunny Fung and Bitcoin Association’s Edward Liu, the attendees will also get to interact with expert Bitcoin developers for more individualized interactions.

Li is especially looking forward to hearing from Gu Lu who “will introduce a well-crafted developer’s guide about getting started in the ecosystem, which should benefit both beginners and experienced developers as well. Several app and game instances will be presented to show how ideas are turned into live apps, what kind of problems are met and how they are solved.”
