After an action-packed first day in which NFTs, the metaverse, CBDCs, and government adoption of blockchain technology were discussed, the second day of the BSV Global Blockchain Convention promises to be even better. Web3, IoT, NFTs, and more will feature prominently, with Dr. Craig Wright making his first appearance on stage with his keynote presentation.
Satoshi Nakamoto described Bitcoin as a purely peer-to-peer version of electronic cash, a vision that has been restored through Bitcoin SV. The first session of the day will focus on better payments with BSV, with CoinGeek’s Patrick Thompson moderating a panel that will include, among others, Centbee’s Lorien Gamaroff and HandCash CTO Raul Jimenez.
Invoicing with Bitcoin SV, powering markets for digital assets through BSV, and the future of financial services on the blockchain are among some of the other topics that will be discussed in the mid-morning sessions.
Paul Chiari, the founder of WeatherSV, will take to the stage to talk about the fusion of IoT and blockchain. With more than 10 billion IoT devices online today and this number expected to hit 25 billion by 2030, only Bitcoin SV, with its massive blockchain, can underpin IoT globally.
The afternoon sessions will look into blockchain for data integrity, using the technology to benefit artists, food supply on the blockchain, and livestreaming through blockchain. UNISOT CEO Stephan Nilsson, nChain CEO Hakan Yuksel, QNTM Labs Justin Ihnken, and Ultimus Inc. President Karl Freiheit will all take to the stage to discuss their areas of expertise.
CoinGeek’s Chief Bitcoin Historian Kurt Wuckert Jr. will moderate a panel on Web3 on BSV, featuring Britevue founder Connor Murray and NOBL founder Errol Hula. With this iteration of the Internet, which is based on decentralization and user data ownership taking center stage in recent months, BSV is well-positioned to emerge as the leader as it has done in several other sectors.
Two keynote speeches headline Day 2 of the BSV Global Blockchain Convention—the first to be delivered by Latif Ladid, the president of the IPv6 Forum.
The second and definitely the most eagerly-anticipated will be Dr. Craig Wright’s keynote presentation. He will follow up on Ladid’s speech and talk about how integrating IPv6 and Bitcoin SV will create a much better Internet.
